Society Launches New Business Internet/Postal Account

Apr 30, 2008

Beverley Building Society has launched a new deposit account facility aimed specifically at businesses which is available either through the post or via the internet.

The Society’s Marketing and Development Manager, Graham Carter, provides further details. ‘The business community traditionally has not been best served by banks and building societies when considering monies that they hold on deposit. Businesses have monies as a war chest for purchases, as a contingency for unexpected costs or even just to put aside ready for the annual tax bill. The Society has had an internet facility for some local solicitors to manage their client accounts and it was decided to extend this to provide this type of access so that businesses can benefit from the better rates of interest that are available rather than leaving money stuck in low interest current accounts. We do recognise that internet access may not suit all tastes and so we offer the same terms for postal transactions if this is more preferable.’

A demonstration disk is available and anyone interested in this facility should contact Mr Carter on 01482 881510.
